Having always had a love for nature, my background consisted of highly detailed illustrations using watercolours. Through the years, though, my original painting style has evolved using vivid colouring techniques and I would say a ‘freer’ style. The use of acrylic paint and acrylic ink & pen style enables me to experiment in all different ways on paper and canvas; I love the balance between colour and line and the fact the line doesn’t overwhelm but adds another dimension has become a very popular part of my work.
