Although originally trained as a jeweller and silversmith, Toni found herself working as a muralist for over twenty years alongside furniture recycling and pet portraiture.
It was only after covid that Toni decided to utilise her spare time and experiment in painting her own canvases wherein she soon discovered an ability to capture a likeness in both animals and people. Originally working in acrylics Toni has recently discovered the benefits of painting in oils and although she is occasionally drawn to painting a landscape, portraiture is currently her main passion and she will often take on private commissions alongside her own creations.
