Christmas Party and demonstration by Matt Waruszynski, figurative and portrait artist, starting at 7.00pm. We will start the evening with wine, mince pies and savoury nibbles before the demonstration begins at 7.30pm.
During the interval Matt will judge the portrait painting entries entered by our members. The portrait must have been painted and completed during the year 2025. It must be all the artists own work and not copied from a photograph unless taken by the artist themselves. The successful winning artists will receive a voucher to spend at Pullinger’s Art Supplies. 1st prize £50, 2nd prize £30, 3rd prize £20. We look forward to you joining us and taking part.
Portrait Artist Matt Waruszynski will be working from life in his thick impasto style which he sees as sculpting in paint. He is drawn to fast energetic marks to give a sense of life & movement in his work.
There will be a follow on workshop with Matt on Sat Jan 17th at Long Sutton Village Hall 10am - 4pm. Details & booking information to follow.
