JOAN EARDLEY AND ANNE REDPATH : For the Love of Paint
Two 20th century artists based in Scotland; both used paint superbly to translate what they saw into powerful images.
Both found particular places that inspired them and they felt empathy with. But they had two very different temperaments and working methods, so looking at their lives and work gives us a fascinating insight into the different ways that great art can be made.
