Born January 1960.
From 1978 Southampton and Epsom art colleges HND in ceramics.
Worked making hand thrown domestic and garden ware in various potteries.
Between employment at potteries a period as a registrar, pen and ink illustrations of artefacts in the African department of the then Museum Of Mankind, the ethnographic collections of the British Museum. Two years teaching art at a girls secondary school.
In the late 1980s an opportunity arose to carve wax original models for lost wax casting in precious metals and bronze. The wax models were made for a network of silversmiths/jewellers and design houses in the the luxury goods industry, presentation pieces, awards and trophies etc. This was the main focus until the first 15 years post 2000.
Deciding it was time to produce art of his own inspiration the focus moved to landscape painting in oils and carving stone sculpture in granite and other coloured hard stone.
