Watercolour Seascapes - Wild & Free

Watercolour is the perfect medium for capturing dramatic skies, atmospheric coastlines and moody light. 

Tom’s Material List:

Paper:

• Baohong Master’s Choice Watercolour paper: 300gsm, Coldpress, A3 size (approx. 31x41cm)

Brushes:

• Pan Art mop size 16, 12 & 8
• Pointed Round size 12

Colours:

I use exclusively Daniel Smith Colours these days

A small selection of small colours plus some fun extras:

• Ultramarine Blue & Cbalt Blue - warm
• Maganese or Cerulean Blue - cool
• Quinacridone Red / Rose - cool
• Indian Yellow - neutral (some brands are much warmer)
• Raw Sienna (or Yellow Ochre) - coolish earthy Yellow
• Transparent Pyrrol Orange - my version of Burnt Sienna
• Cobalt Teal Blue / Turquoise
• Lavender
• Titanium White
